During every celebration, we all eagerly waited for our grandmother Ahbee’s freshly baked pineapple tarts. Sometimes, there wasn’t even enough left for guests!
For sure, no crumb was left behind. Guests who did taste them loved them just as much as we did. Many have asked for the recipe, but Ahbee insisted it was a family recipe, and rightfully so.
There was so much love for these heavenly pineapple tarts that we just had to share them with the rest of the world. We weren’t going to gatekeep such bites of bliss.
Before long, Ohhya was founded in 2021 by Ahbee’s granddaughter.
